StratInterviews was originally founded by two former strategy consultants who worked for 5 and 8 years in strategy consulting firms (Monitor Group, Roland Berger), delivering growth strategy and operations engagements in France, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland (and from times to time Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Turkey, the US and Brazil), before eventually landing and settling in Australia and moving to Corporate Strategy roles.
They delved into multiple industries throughout their career: banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, automotive, retail, fast moving consumer goods, telco, media, industrials, energy and public sector.

They started interviewing junior candidates when they became Senior Consultants and remained active members of the recruitment team over the years, interviewing then aspiring Senior Consultants, Managers and eventually Senior Managers.
One of them was in charge of the recruitment process for junior and senior consultants for 3.5 years for the Paris office. During this time, he reviewed the definition of target schools and filtering criteria for HR, screened 2,000+ CVs, defined the on-campus presence strategy, streamlined the recruitment process, trained Senior Consultants on how to interview junior candidates and overall conducted more than 200 first round interviews, 20 second-round group interviews and had the pleasure to let a few successful candidates know they had a job offer.
